Welcome to Saints At War
The Saints At War Archive provides a unique opportunity for veterans, deployed civilians, and their family members to preserve the legacy of Latter-day Saint service during times of war. The chief objective is to establish a permanent archive of written histories, oral histories, letters, journals, images, and other documents that will be maintained at the L. Tom Perry Special Collections Library at Brigham Young University. To date, hundreds of Latter-day Saint World War veterans and their families have contributed to the project.
The project directors invite veterans, civilians, and others involved in any modern conflicts to consider how they may contribute to this effort to preserve latter-day voices of war. Future generations of students, family members, and scholars will find this resource invaluable, as well as inspiring, as they study the experiences of Latter-day Saints during war.
